Our new Senior Pastor, Adam Spore, preaches at FUMC Waxahachie for the first time this coming Sunday.  Since we are just getting started on a new journey together, we’ll examine what the Apostle Paul told the early church in Corinth as they began their journey. Paul grounded his message in the simple truth of God's grace, the power of a unified church, and the transformation we experience through Christ. Just like a butterfly starts small and grows over time, our faith is transformed little by little on strong, simple truths. This Sunday, Pastor Tully will share a message from the heart as he looks back on 45 years of serving as a pastor. Pastor Tully reminds us that being a follower of Jesus isn’t about being perfect, but about doing the next right thing with God’s help. Each of us has a role to play in sharing God’s love. This Sunday is Pentecost, one of the most important days in the Christian year—even more important than Christmas! God still speaks through dreams and visions today, and the Holy Spirit continues to work in our lives if we’re willing to listen.
