Life After Grief

A Support Group for those Experiencing Loss

Thursdays, January 15 - March 5

6:00 to 7:30 pm

Group Description

Life After Grief is an 8-week grief support group led by Rev. Karen Rigby.   Support groups help those who grieve by introducing them to others who have had similar experiences and feelings. The group also provides emotional, physical, and spiritual support in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.

The group will use Dr. Alan Wolfelt’s workbook “The Understanding Your Grief” as a resource.  The cost for participation is $32 to cover supplies.  If you need help covering the cost, please email val@fumcwaxahachie.org.

Am I Experiencing Grief?

Each person's grief is unique and can occur in many types of losses.
