Worship Services are on Sunday mornings. We offer two opportunities for Traditional Worship: 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Both Traditional Services are held in the Sanctuary in the Main Building.

We also offer a Reclaimed Contemporary Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center.

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing.

In the Traditional Services, the dress can range from business casual to “Sunday best”. You will fit in no matter how you dress.

In the Reclaimed Contemporary Service, the dress is casual to business casual.

You may park in any available spot. We do have some reserved parking for visitors. Look for a visitor parking sign.

During busier times, parking in the west lot is your best bet. Entrances to the Main building can be found on the west side, central near the church offices, or on the north side of the church.

There are several entrances to the Family Life Center, which is our newest building. There is one entrance by the back parking lot and two on the side facing the main building.

There are a variety of Sunday School classes for all ages and walks of life. Visit our Get Involved pages to find out more about each one. We would love for you to visit!
First Kids Nursery is the perfect place for your infant to go. There is a nursery room available for children 12 weeks to 2 years. The Nursery is located in the Family Life Center, Room 303.

Parents sign in their child(ren) and are given a pager in case communication is needed while their child(ren) are in the Nursery.

First Kids Children’s Church is held during the 11:00 worship services for ages 3 years to 5 years. Parents may pick up their child from Children’s Church following their worship service.

If you are visiting with us, we do not expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider First United Methodist Church your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider giving to FUMC.
In the Traditional Services, we sing from the United Methodist Hymnal. You will hear from our renowned 3–manual, 44–rank Wicks pipe organ. The Early Risers (a choir ensemble) sings at the 8:30 a.m. Traditional service, and our chancel choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Traditional Service.

In the Reclaimed Contemporary Service, we join in glorifying God with a full praise band present. Our gifted vocalists lead the congregation in praise with contemporary worship including modern songs or a spin on traditional classics.

The worship services last about one hour. This gives all an opportunity to attend Sunday School before or after a worship service.
