UMCOR Mission Trip

This mission trip to UMCOR’s Sager Brown Depot in Baldwin, Louisiana, requires participants to collect, organize, and package supplies (blankets, soaps, health kits, bottled water, etc.) for immediate relief efforts in the aftermath of severe floods and other natural disasters, supporting UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) efforts. UMCOR is often first on the scene to offer aid to victims before the American Red Cross or other nonprofit organizations show up.

Kids Against Hunger

Every spring, FUMC Waxahachie and other churches and members of the community partner up with Kids Against Hunger, a humanitarian food-aid organization, to significantly reduce the number of starving children in both the USA and around the world.
