Adult Bible Class- ABC
This class's purpose is to equip one another in sharing their faith, growing in relationship with God and serving others. ABC uses several methods of teaching including discussion, video series and lecture. This class meets in the Chapel. Most of the members are Baby Boomers and couples or singles with adult children.
This class enjoys seeking God's truth. Studies are diverse and decided by the class. Most of the members of this class are middle age or seniors. They meet in the library- Room 123
This class is composed of diverse people involved in many aspects of the church life. Age range is from 30'2-50's. Leaders use books and DVD series to present study topics ranging from Biblical history to today's headlines, discussing how to apply these lessons to daily life. Most of the members of this class are couples with elementary and upper grade children. They meet in the Foundation (basement).
This class is filled with a loving spirit and people who enjoy life. Builders have innovative lessons by members of the class and actively run fundraisers to give generously to various missions and outreach programs. This class enjoys monthly socials and coffee and treats before each Sunday School class. They meet in Fidelis Hall. Most of the members are senior citizens, 60+.
Members are a diverse group of individuals who enjoy life, learning and serving. The class enjoys Bible based lessons to gain a deeper understanding the of life of Christ and the message of the Gospels. This class holds fundraisers to help support the outreach of the church in the community and in missions. Current members are mostly 50 and above. They meet in Room 122.
This class is a multi-generational class (40's- to 70's) that studies from the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies series. Each quarter brings an new and exciting study. Discussion is encouraged. This class will take on the annual pancake breakfast this coming year as a fundraiser. They enjoy class socials throughout the year or just gathering to go eat after church on occasion. If you love a small intimate group, this is it. They meet in the multi-purpose room, Room 115.
This class is a group of fun and passionate young adults eager to discover God's path for their lives. Pathfinders begin each Sunday morning with a time of food and fellowship, followed by a time of Bible study with plenty of discussion. The class enjoys monthly socials through the year. They also maintain the playground as part of their mission ministry to FUMC. Most of the members are 20"s-30 somethings. They meet in room 215.
This class is composed of mainly retired people. They take on subjects outside the mainstream that tend to draw conversation. The Wesley Class has fellowship meetings in each others' homes several times a year and occasionally go together to events in the community. They meet in Room 105.
